rainy day

Today Jenny came over so that we could both stay up all day to reset out whacked out sleeping patterns. We are both running on less than an hour of sleep in hopes that it will let us sleep at night tonight. To stay away we took some photos, most of which were outdoors in a light rain.

milk bath

so submerged has come to an end as these are the last photos shot for the series. originally olga wanted to do these with a snake in the tub, but couldn't get access to the snake she wanted to use haha. then she was going to use rose pedals, but we forgot to buy roses while we were at the store buying the milk and eyelashes.




tip: instead of using liquid milk use powdered milk - we bought one big box of it at walmart and it was perfect (and probably cheaper than if we bought gallons of real milk).


so i've started uploading some of the photos from the series for print purchasing. if anyone has a specific shot they really love please let me know and i will definitely include it for you to purchase.

still keeping the low prices on my prints as well so yay!

do the dew

ruby, danny, and myself all had many mt dew rushes while she was staying with us a couple months ago. "chip, i'm all jacked up on mountain dew!" is a good movie quote to go along with these photos, haha.

photographers shooting other photographers

so for part of my series i knew i wanted to use film in the tub. i had that giant bag of film from the turistas trailer that was given to me during another shoot and i really wanted to see it in water. so i figured shooting another photographer with the film would be awesome. granted it's movie reel, but eh close enough haha. also pulled out two of my older cameras for extra props and had a fun time.

purple or black?

so the water was supposed to be deep purple for this one, but somehow it turned out black in the photos haha. in real life it was purple, as well as in the video. oh well, kristin still liked it and that's what mattered.

peeing mannequins

during this shoot the mannequin filled up with water. when meagan didn't want to pose with it anymore i lifted it out of the tub and put it on the toilet so it could drain. for a good five minutes it sounded like someone was peeing haha. we couldn't concentrate on shooting because it was so funny.

remember to open the window

so at the beginning of this shoot i just about choked. if anyone ever wants to smoke while in the tub, make sure you open a window haha. krysti and i laughed as i stumbled out of the tub trying to reach the window.

farm animals and kazoos and dinos OH MY

alex always has this HUGE purse that she carries around. inside she has about 4 pairs of sunglasses, pens, gum, random items, and a ziplock baggy of toys haha! so when she was about to get in the tub she grabbed a bunch of the toys and a kazoo. during the shoot we named the stingray toy.

workout video in a tub

maggie brought the lawlz while we were shooting. in the second photo you can see her making a funny face at my boyfriend while he was yelling something in another room. our tub has seen some funny things haha.

watermelons are delicious

audra reminded me of a watermelon with the pink water, green bra, and matching makeup so i tweaked the colors when post processing to emphasis the watermelon look. during the shoot we wished we had slices of melon to eat and be messy with. you can't tell (maybe you can by her larger than normal boobs haha), but audra has a little bun in the oven while we shot this. he was born recently and is cute as heck in the photos i've seen!

shirley temple

baby j brought all the supplies to make shirley temples and we drank some while shooting. afterward we finished the night off right by playing numerous rounds of mario kart wii!

sometimes firepixi looks like a bathtub nymph playing around in lime jello haha.
